Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Season the chicken tenders with paprika, salt, pepper, and dried thyme (if using).
- Place the chicken tenders in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the chicken is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the honey and cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly. Remove from heat.
- Once the chicken tenders are cooked, remove them from the air fryer and drizzle the honey butter garlic sauce over them.
- Toss to coat evenly, then serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of honey and garlic based on your taste preferences.
- For extra crispiness, you can lightly bread the chicken tenders before air frying.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
