Million Dollar Lasagna is a creamy, cheesy, and indulgent lasagna with a rich blend of three cheeses, sausage, and ground beef.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

 
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then add the marinara sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, cream cheese, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer in the baking dish: spread a layer of the meat sauce, then a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by the cheese mixture. Repeat until the dish is filled.
  • Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

 
  • You can substitute the ground beef and sausage with ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
